Browsing my email at lunch today I discover that Raging Bull is being shown on the big screen once again!
It's playing at the Edinburgh Filmhouse next week from Tuesday to Thursday @ 2.30PM & 8.30PM. I so could easily take a afternoon off work and scoot on up to Edinburgh and catch that 2.30PM screening on Thursday. Hopefully I'll persuade myself to go and see it. (Update) But I can't after travelling back and forth from Edinburgh at the weekend, i really can't be arsed. I'll just watch the DVD.
Straying away from this subject now, I'm getting a little pissed off with X-Box 360 Achievements. On Gears of War I managed to curb stomp over 100 people in Ranking mode, but no achievement. I got to the Gears forum and ask about the problem, all they do is "Search Button Noob!!!!", f*cking retards, I used the search but and all I found was my f*cking topic. I now have 120 curb stomps and now achievement, people say just keep doing it, it'll pop up one day (Update: That day was Friday, 130 Curb Stomps later). Last night the same goes for Smackdown vs. RAW 2007, the Achievement of playing/winning as every Superstar on the roster on any difficultly, so last night i spent an hour playing as the last 15 people, once finishing, no achievement, no I wreck my mind thinking which did i not play as? I had a list, so no I've narrowed it down to 5 people that might have not fought as, more bullshit as usual.
I feel a little better after that rant, people who bitch online through gaming annoy the hell out me. You just picture the obvious geeky stereotype, thick glasses, star trek t-shirt etc. What can I say? I'm a library assistant who runs a Asian film site on the site. But I'm still social, I drink, go out, get flung out clubs, I've been in relationships (about 6 in total, but only one of them really worked lol). I think I'm just trying to say is "I'm not the Geek, you are!".
Well my fate has been decided at work, with the Kirkcaldy branch closing I'll be working in Dunfermline HQ Monday-Wednesday 9-5PM, Leven Library Thursday-Friday 9-5PM. Then the second week Dunfermline same again, but Leven Library will be 9-5PM on Friday & Saturday. It'll be the same like that every fortnight for the next year.
This weekend I had a very busy one, Saturday I travelled to Edinburgh to see Ross Noble at the Edinburgh Playhouse, after checking into a creepy hotel we decide to potter about, we go see "Run Fat boy Run!" which was really good, Dylan Moran stole each and every scene he was in. After the film ended we headed to the playhouse, it was MOBBED! The show was amazing, I just felt a little bad that Bear and Heather never got to see it. Ross Noble was great he made me laugh, cry and laugh again. Here's a summary of the jokes he done;
- Adding "Jackie Chan Style" to the end of every sentence makes it instantly more interesting (Sex Jackie Chan Style - it's like doggy style but you fight 5 ninjas at the same time).
- People left these on stage; A Tiny easel, touchable bubbles, pizza, Muffins, dozens of shoes, letters and toffee popcorn.
- People he included from the crowd; Mark the trainee vet, Holly the cure for penile dysfunction, the student who studies antrapolothy (witchcraft!!!) and the bloke who was caught filming the show.
- Trying to humour a New Zealand Check in Girl "Tell me a joke!".
- Constantly being stripped searched
- Continually forgetting to tell us about; Why he's off his tits (kinder eggs), his shirt (bet you've cum in a few men) and glass eyes (laughing so hard the pop out).
- This isn't my Usual Job.....
- Moroccan child ripping his wife (A Dingo ate my baby!!)
- Piss boiling
- Milkshake sausage dogs for Muslims
that's all for now, you know why? the longer I leave these blogs the more I have to edit them when times change lol
